Weaving will take place on an Ashford Sample-It loom (the loom which I started my own weaving journey) and will already be threaded for you, giving you the chance to explore plain weave, colour and texture, using pick-up sticks and hand-manipulated weaving.
All equipment and yarn will be provided, and the cloth you weave is yours to takeaway. The loom you work on is available to purchase.
You will also get a chance to have a go on a 16 shaft table loom and a 100 year old floor loom, located in my garden weaving studio!
Soup, cake, tea and coffee will be provided (vegan and gluten free). Please let me know of any allergies, e.g. nuts. You are of course welcome to bring your own lunch!
The workshop will take place in my house. Please note the bathroom is upstairs if you have any mobility issues.
Unfortunately no refunds can be given if unable to attend, but can be transferred to another date.
